In the spirit of the long-running Beer&&Code (https://www.meetup.com/Beer-Code-Seattle/), Queer&&Code is a time and place for queer folks and allies to work on personal projects involving code. The event is unstructured, and is meant to be a place to work, meet new people, and help one another. You don’t have to be queer, but you do have to respect that Q&&C is a safe place for queer members of the developer community.

Whether you’re looking to meet other queer developers or work on your project, Q&&C can be that for you. Choose your own adventure!

Not everyone is going to have the same goals for Q&&C, so here’s how you can help to make sure Q&&C remains a positive experience for everyone:

• Respect personal space & boundaries

• Wear a name tag w/your personal pronouns

• No sales pitches - whether for your project, yourself, or your company, this event isn’t about selling.

• Don’t drink too much

• No external groups - this isn’t a space for unsanctioned meetups within the meetup.

The event starts at 6:00 pm and goes until 9pm.

Attendees agree to abide by Substantial's Code of Conduct (http://substantial.com/code-of-conduct/).

It's taking place at Substantial (http://substantial.com/) on Capitol Hill. Nearest cross-street is Pine and Broadway. The entrance is just to the right of Sugarpill across the street from Molly Moon. Dial 202 on the intercom and someone will let you in!
