Dynamics and the Dataverse is not the best place to store Documents and SharePoint is a terrible relational database. Together they can be used as a platform for building solutions to manage your business. However, the out of the box integration does not reflect how many organisations want to manage the SharePoint architecture. Calling on over 10 years experience integrating the two platforms Peter Baddeley assess the options available. He will explain the core components that make the integration work and how organisations can leverage that to build their own architecture.

This session is for you if you are using standard Dynamics apps, like sales or customer service, or are using custom Model Driven Apps connected to the Dataverse. It will be a fast paced session, with lots of demos.

Our Speakers

Peter Baddeley is Director of Microsoft Sales and Client Solutions at Appficiency Inc. Peter has delivered solutions on the Microsoft Platform for 15 years, with a focus on Document Management and Business Applications. He has broad experience working with organisations in both the public and private sector. He spends most of his time now in the board room, rather than the server room, helping organisation deliver digital workspace solutions on the Microsoft Cloud. Peter is the Founder and Product Manager of ProvisionPoint, the provisioning and change management solution for Office 365. Peter supports the Microsoft community with speaking at a number of global events and organising SharePoint Saturday London.

Adrian Tunley is Technology Innovation Lead at Irwin Mitchell. As well as being a co-organiser for our Manchester user group, Adrian is an accomplished Senior IT Leader with a strong and varied background in portfolio, programme, and project management. Adrian has over 15 years of hands-on experience driving success and business benefits, including building strong teams, senior service leadership, and delivering highly customer-facing change programmes.
