Recognizing Human Onenesss | Free
Details
On June 11th, 1957 the Baha’is of the United States officially created an annual Race Unity Day, the first of its kind in the US. The purpose of this day is to build unity in diversity through a recognition of the oneness of humanity. Be part of a different kind of conversation as we explore together how the Baha’i Teachings can lend insight to overcoming this massive challenge facing America.
What to Expect?
After a brief introduction on the Bahá’í Faith we will examine a short selection of readings from the Bahá’í Writings as a jumping off point for what is sure to be a lively discussion where everyone is encouraged to contribute. We will also have some time together to explore more deeply the Bahá’í Teachings, so join us with your questions, thoughts, and a desire to connect with others in your area who want to explore this topic as well!
"It is not for him to pride himself who loveth his own country, but rather for him who loveth the whole world. The earth is but one country, and mankind its citizens." – Baha’i Writings
