Toastmasters 4 Writers Zoom Meeting on July 11!

Welcome to Toastmasters 4 Writers!

Toastmasters 4 Writers is a specialty Toastmasters club for everyone who loves storytelling and writing in any genre. You don't need to be a published or professional writer to enjoy our Toastmasters 4 Writers club.

For 20 years, Toastmasters 4 Writers has been providing a safe and welcoming place for people to experience profound growth as communicators and leaders. We are here to cheer on all our members as they overcome their fear of speaking in front of groups, and excel as presenters.

On Saturday, July 11, 2026 from 10 AM - noon PT, we are hosting our Zoom meeting with the theme "Self-Determination!"

Toastmasters 4 Writers welcomes you to attend!

Our meetings start at 10 AM sharp, and end approximately at noon.

Here is the basic structure of our meetings:

INTRODUCTION: The President, Toastmaster and supporting members kick off the meeting.

SPEECHES: One to three speeches are presented by members from a variety of experience levels.

TABLE TOPICS: Guests and members are invited to give 1-2 minute impromptu speeches or share a story.

EVALUATIONS: Select members offer constructive feedback on the speeches presented.

Toastmaster's message for our July 11th meeting:

Dear Toastmasters Members and Guests,

What happens when life regularly throws obstacles in your path that seem impossible to overcome?

Do you surrender to circumstances, or do you decide that your future will be determined by your choices rather than your past?

At our next Toastmasters 4 Writers meeting, we'll explore the power of self-determination—the ability to chart your own course regardless of where you started or what challenges you face.

Throughout my life, I have learned that self-determination is more than a dictionary definition. It is a mindset. It is getting up when life knocks you down. It is taking risks when success is uncertain. It is refusing to let setbacks, failures, disappointments, or even serious health challenges define who you become.

From humble beginnings to career changes, entrepreneurial ventures, athletic goals, and unexpected turns along the way, I have discovered that determination can be a powerful force for transformation.

Join us at our Zoom meeting on July 11 as we explore what self-determination means and ask ourselves a simple question: Who is writing the next chapter of your life—you, or your circumstances?
