Water is flowing all over at Chiva Falls and Frog Hollow. It's always a matter of timing to get this ride right so we can get in a nice swim at Frog Hollow. You can swim in your bike gear or bring a change of clothes. We'll decide on the route when we see who shows up.

This ride is on mostly rugged, rutted, rocky jeep roads with lots of hills with a some hike-a-bike (up & down) on steep hills. I'ts even more rutted than usual with lots of loose rock, ruts and water crossings. Not a beginner level ride, but a good challenge for those with good endurance. Plan for a wet bike, shoes and socks.

Ride is about 10-12 miles overall, but feels like more. Plan for 3-4 hours with swimming. Bring plenty of water and maybe some first aid supplies. Crashes are not unusual out here.

If you're riding up Redington Rd or driving on your own, plan to meet at the Chiva Falls trailhead at 700 AM. You can park at one of the lower parking lots off Redington Rd and ride up the road in about 45 minutes (at my speed!)
