La Bocca della Verità (The Mouth of Truth)

To make informed decision, knowledge should be managed in a way to be accessible to relevant group members. SRG-SSR plays an important role as the main representative of Swiss media to provide a neutral, democratic, in needed critic access of people to the available information. We believe today’s technology can provide smart mechanisms in order to support this idea and give opportunity to every opinion to be heard. However, an important step of such a system is validation of the collected opinions in order to result in a constructive common sense knowledge about every issue that the population are concerned about. The goal of “La Bocca della Verità (The Mouth of Truth)” project is to provide a solution for this critical problem.

In this SRG-SSR Hackathon, Cryms and COD Technologies, would like to introduce an intelligent system and use the “noBillag” subject as a tangible use-case example for the audience to demonstrate danger of biased opinion of "diversally informed" voters on a complicated subject, which can drastically effect Swiss values.
We will try to demonstrate how an intelligent system can be helpful for improving common sense knowledge about every aspect of every case which can be concluded with an "informed decision” that is protected from propaganda.
