NorthBay Speech Masters TM 3/21 meeting Cancelled

Clubs meeting on Sat 3/21 cancelled so the members can attend the Division Speech Contest.

NorthBay Speech Masters will hold a club meeting on Saturday, April 4.

THE Division C Speech Contest is being held on March 21 @ 10am PDT.
It is a hybrid event. Contest information is shown below.

Division C International Speech and Table Topic Contest

• Please come out and cheer on our contestants in the contest. It is good for the contestant, and it is good for you.
• All functionaries and contestants will attend in person.
• The doors will open at 9:15am. (There will be light refreshments if you bring some to share. Bottled water provided. Bring your own coffee. Starbucks is across the street from the venue at 205 N. McDowell Blvd.)
• All functionaries and judges arrive before 9:30am.
• All contestants by 9:40am.
• Audience by 9:50am online or in person.
• The contest will start promptly at 10:00am.

Please enter the contest room from the lobby, not the side entrance.
Zoom provided for members and guests for remote viewing and listening. Contact us before 3/21 for the zoom information.

Whether it's improving our health, focusing on professional advancement, learning a new skill, it is often helpful to obtain someone to help learn new skills like speaking without preparation. We call speaking without preparation, impromptu speaking. If you want to learn new Impromptu speaking skills, Toastmasters can help. During the meeting, we will practice our impromptu speaking skills during our session we call Table Topics. At the meeting, members will practice giving prepared speeches. Other members will give the speakers feedback on the speeches, so the speakers can grow and learn new skills.

You are invited to the next Toastmasters meeting :
