webOS Developer & Enthusiast Meetup

Please join us for a 2 part webOS event! We have secured the loft at Seau's Restaurant for a 3 hour developer session. Arthur Thornton, Manny Gomez and Robert Thuleen will be presenting on webOS app development. There will be 2 sessions, one covering an intro to Ares app development and the other covering an intro to Enyo app development. These are hands on sessions, so please bring your laptop. Wifi will be provided.

We will wrap up with a hack-a-thon! WebOS devices will be available for testing any apps you may currently have under development or are attempting to port to webOS. Assistance will be available and an opportunity to ask questions about webOS development. We also will be performing a Franken Pre2 Sprintification (http://www.webosroundup.com/2011/03/step-by-step-sprint-pre-2-conversion-guide/), some additional "hacking" ...on a TouchPad, and in celebration of Preware's (http://apps.webosroundup.com/Catalog/org.preware.docs) Birthday, we will be assisiting with getting Preware installed on your webOS devices!

Food and beverages will be provided during the developers sessions and for the social meet up that starts at 5:30pm. Manny recently returned from HP headquarters where he secured a webOS device for a giveaway! We will also have shwag to give away to those attending!

These events are open to all – whether you're a current webOS developer, a fan, or just want to know more about what makes webOS a great platform, bring a friend or two and join us!
