Testing how long one can RSVP after listing start-time is past

MMSILE: This is a test listing to see how long 1 can RSVP after the start time is past. Unfortunately Meetup does or used to prevent one from RSVPing to an event after it has started but before it ends. This makes a particular problems for events as conferences which spam multiple days: one may want to simplify everything by making a single listing for it all, but will that prevent later RSVPs? In particular I'm thinking for tomorrow's http://meetup.com/OCAndroid/events/118813912/ . To test, RSVP with a comment saying the time you RSVP.
