Fix it Friday

Starting in April, MAKE! Chicago is introducing a new monthly activity:

Fix it Friday!

On the second Friday of each month, we'll open up our shop to the public to help you fix your stuff!

Just bring in your broken stuff - lamps, toys, furniture, appliances, whatever you have that needs some TLC.

We'll try our best to help you diagnose what is wrong, and push you in the right direction to repair everything. We'll provide the tools and guidance, you supply the elbow grease.

If you need new parts, we will help you figure out where to get what you need. Whether around the corner at the hardware store, or looking for specialty parts online.

You can also use our shop to make replacement parts from scratch.

The fee for this workshop will be $45 per person. But, we don't want to turn anyone away who needs help. So, we are instituting a "Pay What You Can" policy just for this workshop. If you can kick us $45 for the day's access, great. If not, do the best you can.
