Seaford Circular and Friston Forest autumn colours
Details
This 13.5 mile hike takes us up out of Seaford over Seaford Head, dropping down to Cuckmere Haven for a view of the Seven Sisters on a clear day. From there we will head up the Cuckmere valley towards and through Friston Forest for some autumn colours (hopefully!). We will then hike to Litlington and up Cradle Hill before dropping back down into Seaford where this hike will end.
This is a 13.5 mile hike on rough paths with three significant hills. We will need to keep up a moderate pace throughout the walk to ensure we complete it in a reasonable time and before dark.
Fee: £6 payable on booking (fee is to cover the organiser’s expenses only (e.g. insurance, certifications, Meetup fees).
Bring: packed lunch and plenty of water. You will want waterproofs and warm layers too. Sturdy hiking shoes/boots will be best as there is a high likelihood of muddy paths. If you have them, poles may be beneficial too.
