September TACSE Meeting - Teacher Certification Requirements

Come and contribute your ideas and opinions regarding the TEA standards in a discussion of the current state of affairs of Computer Science teaching in Texas, with some exciting news about the recent TeachCS effort in training prospective CS teachers. We will talk about what it takes to become certified, what is expected by the current TEA standards for the CS 8-12 Certification, what courses this certification can teach, and what the future holds with possible changes looming on the horizon.
