HackWorks are a IoT focussed community which experiments with different IoT platforms, hardware and software with the aim of getting your creative juices flowing and building some really awesome things.

Examples of the more well known devices we have experimented with are Arduino, Raspberry Pi, Particle Photon, Leap Motion, and Google cardboard.

This regular meetup aims to be an enviroment where hardware enthusiasts can come and work on their own projects, or learn from others. There are not normally set tasks for the sessions, however, we have some introductory kits and project ideas for beginners.

Participants are also able to present their work to others in the group to order to gain feedback, or teach others about what they have been working on.

HackWorks aims to be a collaborative environment, without being too prescriptive.
