On the occasion of the 11th International Day of Yoga, the Consulate General of India, San Francisco, and Students of Satyananda Yoga / Bihar School of Yoga Tradition in the Bay Area, are organizing a 2-day yoga workshop.

Along with celebration and presentation, participants will learn simple yet powerful Yoga practices of -
- Postures (Asana),
- Breathing Science (Pranayama),
- Yoga Nidra (Pratyahara / Relaxation) and
- Guided Meditation

These transformative practices are designed to be seamlessly integrated into one’s lifestyle. By incorporating Yoga into one’s daily routine, one can disconnect from the chaos of life and connect to one’s own inner strength and serenity.

This global event, initiated by the United Nations in 2015, is a celebration of Yoga's universal appeal. The Satyananda Yoga (Bihar School of Yoga) Tradition, rooted in the ancient teachings of Yoga Vidya, guides practitioners to lead a healthy and harmonious life, even in times of distress and difficulty. These practices enhance the quality of one’s performance by balancing the physical, mental, and emotional energy and teach us how to live the Yogic life from moment to moment.
