Frugal Fashionista Clothing Swap

Welcome to a whole new way of shopping... Swap - Don't shop -for all the clothing, shoes and accessories you can take home!

Please bring at least 5 pieces of clothing and 2 accessories (jewelry, handbags, scarves etc.) to add to our tables. Plan to take just as much as you like... It's first come, first serve. As our beloved Amanda put it. "The early bird gets the worm"

Come a few minutes early to lay out your clothing - swap time begins promptly ay 1:00 (not before)

CHECK IN TABLE:

This swap is being sponsored by Just Fab. I will be sitting at a table where each guest will check in, receive a gift certicate from just fab and pay thier $5.00 donation. The gift certificate is good for one free pair of shoes, purse, belts anything they sell under 39.95 for the first 40 - 50 guests. Just fill out your style preferences and they will send it to you free of charge. Shipping is also free so no worries there. There will be a couple of door prizes as well...(Shoes, A purse and a belt from JUST FAB)

After you lay out your items, you are expected to leave and form a line outside of the caffeteria. I will open the swap up 5 minutes early to those who volunteered to help set up. Each volunteer can choose 2 items for themselves in the 5 minutes given. Please ensure that you actually helped before you start swapping - Thanks Daphne for this idea! There will be a 50/50 raffle to benefit the school so please bring a few bucks if you plan on purchasing a ticket or two. We are also open to vendors for this swap for the mere price of $25.00 per table! (Tables are all gone for this swap now) Bring cash to purchase items from vendors (Vendors can be found on the left side of this page)

Half of the money will go to the school's debate team and the other half will go to group maintenance and drinks.

It's a really cool program they are running so go check it out, sign up (it's free) and then let me know when you've signed up in an email so I can keep track of how many go do it. Make sure clothing is clean, no stains, no holes, rips or tears and no broken buttons or zippers. If you would be PROUD to pass it on to your girlfriends, than you should bring it. Please do not bring undergarments. We have allowed bras in the past but we are not accepting them anymore as the shelter does not accept them. We're looking for clothing from any season for this swap. If you should find something unswappable on any of the tables, please remove it and place in our crafter's bucket. Nothing should go to waste and no one should be disappointed because it's everyone's jobs to police the tables for non-wearables;)

If you are bringing guests, please ensure to add them to your RSVP.

Last, but not least, bring your swaptastik attitude and plan to come and have a blast!
