Frugal Fashionsita Clothing Swap May Event (Potluck)

PLEASE NOTE: DATE HAS BEEN CHANGED FROM SUNDAY THE 8TH TO SATURDAY THE 7TH OF MAY, AS IT IS MOTHER'S DAY!

Welcome to a whole new way of shopping... Swap - Don't shop -for all the clothing, shoes and accessories you can take home!

Please bring at least 5 items to add to our tables.

Make sure clothing is clean, in season, no stains, no holes, rips or tears and no broken buttons or zippers. If you would be PROUD to pass it on to your girlfriends, than you should bring it. Please do not bring undergarments. We have allowed bras in the past but we are not accespting them anymore as the shelter does not accept them. We're looking for spring items for this swap. Keep all of your winter clothing at home please. If you should find something unswapple on any of the tables, please remove it and place in our crafter's bucket. Nothing should go to waste and no one should be disappointed because it's everyone's jobs to police the tables for non-wearables;)

We're going to continue to hold the swap at the Franconia Governmental Center because I cannot find a larger FREE space. If you wouldn't mind paying a $5.00-$10.00 fee for a school cafeteria, let me know what you think. I really do want to keep this free though. I've checked and visited several places and they all seem to be the same size.

If you are bringing guests, please ensure to add them to your RSVP.

This is a potluck swap so please bring a yummy dish for all to share. Please refrain from bringing chips and junk food. We are looking for more meals rather than sweets. Try to use disposable trays for your food as it's nearly impossible to keep track of who's who's. :) I will supply the drinks and dianna will be supplying the paltes, napkins and silver ware

We'll have our usual glam team at the ready to spoil our guests who love to have their hair and nails done, get a makeover and even a free massage - services are free but we ask that you at least tip the glam people as they are volunteering their time and energy for our cause. We will have a few vendors so please bring some cash should you decide to purchase some of their wonderful products. If you'd like to be a vendor, space is limited. Ideally I would like someone for hair, nails , makeovers and a masseuse.

Last, but not least, being your swaptastik attitude and plan to come and have a blast!
