It's a new year. The holidays are behind us. It's cold. We need a reason to feel gratitude. Well, for starters, we're still here! And, we can celebrate the 1st full month of Winter. Just two more to go until Spring.
Every month we give Jesse (and makercat Floyd) a break from hosting our project days at his house. We like craft bheers, and let's be real - Dayton is a target rich environment when it comes to craft brews. So what better way than to hang out at a brew pub, sans soldering irons, hand tools and gadgets.
We're kicking off our 2nd year of CBOs as we did our first. We're getting together at Wandering Griffin in Beavercreek, just across Colonel Glenn Highway from Fairborn. Bring your Dayton Ale Trail passports and Ohio On Tap app and check off another accomplishment on your path to beervana. Not a sudshead - no problem. They have soft drinks. And they serve food.
Who's welcome? Diodians, past, present and future. FOD (friends of Diode). Fellow makers, hackers and tinkerers. If you're new to the Meetup group here's your chance to meet your fellow Dayton makers. If you think you'd be interested in joining the fun at Jesse's house on Sundays, we'd love to see you.
