Ethereum - An unstoppable world computer

In this workshop you will learn about Ethereum and smart contracts. In the morning we will explore how Ethereum works and why it is substantial.

In the afternoon we will have a deep dive into the world of programming smart contracts in the Solidity programming language for the Ethereum blockchain. Through a simple gaming application (Rock-Paper-Scissors) we will learn how to develop and deploy smart contracts on Ethereum.

11.20-12.30: Introduction to Ethereum Smart Contracts and Solidity programming language
12.30-13.30: Lunch break and networking (We will order pizzas and some drinks)
13.30-14.30: Hands on coding: Creating your first smart contracts (Introducing tools and frameworks: Truffle, Metamask, Solidity)
14.30-15.00: Break
15.00-16.30: Hands on coding: Creating a Rock-Paper-Scissors smart contract
16.30-17.00: Final remarks and retrospective
