Simply speaking, a brand is a promise of value to be delivered and creates a consistent targeted impression. Your personal brand is your personal value proposition to your target market or audience, be it your colleagues, your bosses, your network or your prospective employer. Your brand comprises of your skills, values, passions, personality, and your unique niches.

When people think or talk about you, is it as if you are just another face in the crowd or is there something more? Similar to a business, it takes a steady effort over a period of time to build a brand while a few bad episodes can destroy a brand. Why should you care about your personal brand?
