Media Management 1: Digital Camera Basics moving and managing files

In this section, we introduce users to best practices for managing digital images. We discuss cables, card readers, bluetooth and other methods of moving images plus best practices for folder managment and some of the photo management software available to add value to digital photo collections. We will also talk about photo sharing online -- Picasa, Flickr, Facebook and other services. Students should bring their camera to the class (point and shoot, DSLR, or cameraphone)
