It's quite a distance from Gangchon Station to Samgaksan Mountain. Therefore, we've always received free van pickup service in exchange for dinner at the dakgalbi restaurant, and we'll be doing so again this year. If any members aren't having dinner, please let us know in advance during the hike. This way, the restaurant can prepare enough meals for the number of people you'll be eating.

+++ Introduction +++
Samaksan Mountain and Deungseon Falls, located on the outskirts of Chuncheon Lake, are perfect weekend outing spots in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province.
The most popular hiking trail on the mountain (suitable even for beginners) starts from one waterfall (a fairly small waterfall at 10 meters high) and passes by two other waterfalls and Seonnyeotang. This course continues all the way to the summit of Samaksan Mountain (654m above sea level).
The mountain has several steep valleys and unique rock formations covered with dense forests. Looking down from the top, you get a great view of Uiam Lake and the Bukran River (and the many small islands within it).

*Course : Uiam Ticket Office - Sangwonsa Temple - Yonghwabong Peak - View - Cheongunbong Peak - Deungseonbong Peak .

* We are using public transportation.
* Mountain entrance fee: 2,000 won (changed to local currency that can be used at restaurants and convenience stores in Chuncheon)

* Hiking shoes(Most important for safety!)
* Water(Thermos recommended in winter)
* Extra clothes to change into during activity
* Gloves (for Keep warm or non-slip use)
* Snacks
* Raincoat (in case of rain)
* Crampons (if it snows)

* 12:30 : After meeting, go to the mountain
* 13:00 : Start of hiking
* 17:30 : Dinner time (delicious grilled chicken ribs)
