+++ Introduction +++
Dear friends !
Instead of heading to the summit of Mt. Dobongsan, our destination is Ui-am Rock.
Ui-am Rock (542m) on Mt. Dobongsan gets its name from its resemblance to a cow’s ear. Depending on the viewing angle, it can also look like Avalokiteshvara (Gwaneum-bosal) praying toward the Buddha—which is why it is sometimes called Gwaneum-bong (Avalokiteshvara Peak) or Samo-bong.

+++ Basic Information +++
• Elevation: 542m above sea level.

• Views: From the Ui-am Rock observation deck and the area around the peak, you can enjoy panoramic views of Mt. Bukhansan, the Obong peaks, the main ridgeline of Mt. Dobongsan, and the city of Seoul.

• Total hiking distance : approximately 7.7 km.

Dobong Station - 만세교 - 무수골 공원 지킴터 - 성신여대 난향원 - 자현암 - 무수골 계곡 - 원통사 - 우이암 - 우이암 사거리 - 거북골 - 승락사 - 구봉사 - 금강암 - 도봉탐방 지원센터 - Dobongsan Station.

+++ Preparation +++
* Hiking shoes(Most important for safety!)
* Water(Thermos recommended in winter)
* Extra clothes to change into during activity
* Gloves (for Keep warm or non-slip use)
* Snacks & light dinner
* Raincoat (in case of rain)
* Crampons (if it snows)

* 11:45 - Meet at Dobong Station on line 1. (Exit 1 inside)
* 11:55 - Take the bus No. 도봉08 at '무수골 정류장'
and Get off at '도봉1 파출소 정류장'
* 12:10 - Start hiking
* 12:30 - Lunch Time
* 18:00 - Finish hiking & Dinner
