What We’re About
Welcome to the Dade-Broward Homeschoolers!
We are a homeschool support group dedicated to fostering fun, friendship, and enriching educational experiences for homeschooling families since 2011. Our mission is to help families build lasting friendships and create a strong support network where parents feel encouraged and connected.
Our events are geared toward school-aged children — including tweens and teens. We welcome all homeschooling styles and expect our members to be respectful and supportive of one another. (Please note: Parents or guardians must accompany their children at all events. Tweens and teens are not permitted to display romantic behavior at group activities.)
Most of our events are held in the North Dade and South Broward areas — including Miami Lakes, Palm Springs North, Hialeah, Pembroke Pines, Miramar, and Davie — though we’re happy to travel for special field trips or unique opportunities.
Our activities include:
- Park days and meetups
- Ongoing classes and co-op opportunities
- Educational field trips (we aim for at least one per month)
- Participation in local homeschool-friendly events
We strongly believe that the strength of our group comes from the involvement of its members. Volunteers are essential, and we encourage everyone to contribute in ways that suit their time and talents. Together, we can make this a rewarding experience for all our families.
