Family Fishing

Grab your fishing rod (or borrow one of ours), bring the family, and join us for a laid-back morning of fishing, breakfast, coffee, and good company at Moby Dick's Private Fishing Pond!

This is a Dadventure, but it's absolutely open to everyone—dads, moms, kids, friends, spouses, grandparents, and anyone else who wants to spend a Saturday morning outdoors. Whether you're coming to fish or relax, we'd love to have you. Please check Moby Dick's website to verify if a cost exists for non-fishing attendees.


Fishing for Every Skill Level

Never fished before? Perfect.

Fish every weekend? Also perfect.

Most of us are pretty casual anglers, so don't worry if you're just getting started. If you're experienced, we'd love your help showing newcomers the ropes. If you're brand new, there will be plenty of people happy to teach you.

We'll have a limited number of extra rods and some bait available to share, but if you have your own gear, please bring it!


Donuts & Base Camp

I'll be arriving early to claim a good picnic area. We'll set up with juice and donuts.


We'll be meeting at Moby Dick's Private Pond.

What to Bring
- Fishing gear (if you have it)
- Camp chair (optional but recommended)
- Water bottle
- Sunscreen and hat
- Your family and a good attitude!

Whether you catch the biggest fish of the morning or don't make a single cast, the goal is the same: spend a few hours outside, meet some great people, and enjoy a relaxed morning together.
