Dr. Andercheck serves as the Chief Data Officer for the City of Dallas. She is the City of Dallas’ first Chief Data Officer and has built and serves as the Director for the City’s Office of Data Analytics and Business Intelligence, which the Bloomberg Center for Civic Analytics at Harvard Kennedy School believes is one of the most effective in the Country. [\[1\]](#_ftn1) Dr. Andercheck won the GovEX Public Service Manager of the Year award in 2022, and was selected by Gartner, Inc as one of the top 5 most impactful CDO’s in the world.
 
Dr. Andercheck is an expert in advanced statistical modeling and predictive analytics. Her research using advanced statistical modeling has appeared in multiple peer reviewed journals and received global media coverage. Prior to joining the City of Dallas, Dr. Andercheck served on the Faculty at Southern Methodist University.
 
Dr. Andercheck earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and History from Southern Methodist University, a Master’s Degree in Government from Georgetown University, a Master’s Degree in Sociology from Baylor University, and a Ph.D. in Sociology from Baylor University.
