Dale Memory Walk (Petsmart PetWalk)

Once again it is time to gather up all the dales for the PetSmart Pet Walk on Sunday, February 19th at Tempe Town Lake. There is no better way to raise funds for the Airedale Rescue and no better place to amass all our Airedales for people to view. All around the sighs can be heard as people look at our dales like the stars they are!! Events start at 9am, the 5K walk starts at 10, and the 1 mile at 10:15. The great people at PetSmart make this walk an incredible opportunity for animal rescues. Every dollar, including registration fees, for people who are part of the National Airedale Rescue team goes directly to the rescue. To get the registration fees to the Airedale rescue you need to be part of the team and that is much easier to do before the walk then at the door! So the big thing is RSVP here because it is fun to know who is coming, but sign up as part of the PetSmart Pet Walk team too. There are two ways to join the team. On the next page click on "join us," then register, join a team, and finally pick National Airedale Rescue and "join us." We will have a booth at the walk and once I know where we will be I will try to get the location out. This year I want our booth to reflect our special furkids that are no longer with us. For anyone who has lost a special soul, please send me a picture with a story and I will put them together to display at our booth. It will be a MEMORY booth! Also, Linda has very kindly offered an Airedale handbag to raffle off and I will add some things that my Lucy loved. We will raffle that off on Sunday, but if anyone would like to bring something, the rescue is planning a silent auction and would appreciate any donations. It could be a dale item, a dog item, whatever you like. We will give everything to Rose or Sidney to put together and then once they are ready to put it for auction up I will send the information.
