Under the Stars: picnic and theater play!

Details
Let's unwind after a long work week with a picnic and a one-of-a kind theathre play in the park!
We will gather on the lawn of the Samuell-Grand Amphitheater to experience Shakespeare's classic comedy The Taming of the Shrew, a production that reframes the timeless battle of wits between Katherine and Petruchio with a contemporary lens and rich cultural vibrancy.
This innovative staging, a modern verse translation by Amy Freed, transports the play to the Texas borderlands of the 1880s and is told in both English and Spanish. Watch as the eccentric Petruchio attempts to "tame" the sharp-tongued Katherina, all while the lovesick Lucentio schemes to win the heart of her sister, Bianca. Who will emerge victorious in this clash of wills?
