Saturday Hike at White Rock Lake

Hey everyone! Since the weather isn’t ideal for a trail hike, we’re keeping things simple with a paved hike at White Rock Lake this weekend. It’s an easy, paved route with great views, perfect for getting fresh air and connecting with each other.

📍 Where to Park: Waterfall Parking Lot at White Rock Lake (2121 Winsted Dr, Dallas, TX 75214). This is a free lot at the corner of Winsted & Garland road - with street parking nearby if needed.

📍 How to Find Us: We'll meet at the bridge entrance near the waterfall. After you park, face the lake then turn right. Follow the paved path until you see the bridge.

🚶‍♀️What We'll Do:

#### 1️⃣ Short Loop – White Rock Spillway & Footbridge (2.5 Miles)

🔹 Distance: ~2.5 miles round trip
🔹 Terrain: Paved, easy, scenic
🔹 Route:

• Start at Waterfall Parking Lot
• Walk toward the White Rock Spillway (cross the footbridge)
• Continue along Lawther Drive Trail for lake views
• Turn around near Big Thicket Pavilion (430 Thicket Circle, Dallas, TX, 75218) and return to the start.

⛅ Weather & Miscellaneous: As of posting this, it's predicted to rain in the morning. By 1 p.m. (our meeting time) it will be dry and in the high 50s/low 60s.
