Saturday Hike at Dallas Blooms Festival (Easy)

Spring is in full bloom, and what better way to celebrate than by visiting the Dallas Blooms Festival at the Arboretum. This event features over 500,000 spring-blooming flowers, scenic walkways, and a perfect opportunity to enjoy the outdoors.

1️⃣ Explore the Dallas Arboretum & Botanical Garden

• Walking Distance: While the exact mileage varies, exploring the full garden can cover several miles.
• Terrain: Mostly paved walkways with gentle inclines in some areas.
• Route:
• Start at the main entrance near the ticket booths
• Wander through the seasonal floral displays
• Head back to the entrance

🔹 Where to Park: On-site parking is available for $15 per vehicle ($12 if you book online and add parking). The parking lot is located at 8525 Garland Road, Dallas, TX 75218. Arriving early is recommended to secure a spot. Consider carpooling if you made a nearby friend at a previous hike.

🔹 Where to Find Us: We'll meet at the main entrance ticket booths. This area provides easy access to restrooms and information centers.

🌞 Weather & Miscellaneous: Based on historical data, March is the warmest and least rainy month during the festival, with temperatures ranging from the upper 40s to high 60s. Please check the weather before arriving and dress in layers.

💰 Pricing:

• Tickets are required for entry: $25.95 for adults, $21.95 for children (2-12), and free for kids under 2. Please book online so we are ready to walk versus waiting at the ticket booth.
