However, this group not about Bitcoin, it is about applying the underlying technology platform and protocol to innumerable use cases across sectors and for business models. As a technology, Blockchain is a platform and protocol fabric for distributed database ledger across trustless nodes in a permissioned or permissionless network of peer nodes. As for use cases, they can range from financial services, Internet of things, supply chain, trade finance, property transaction, land rights, i.e., in short, any use case characterized by Trust, Rules, Identity, Payment, and Reputation. Blockchain enables business models which engage exchange of assets, have a need for a truth source, and run smart contracts. Calling all developers, business leaders, learners and doers to new proving grounds.
