Collin Classic Benefiting City House
Details
Anyone interested in riding the Collin Classic?
From the website:
"The 23rd Annual Collin Classic Bike Rally is set to roll on Saturday, June 14th, in McKinney, Tex. Catering to the serious cyclist, the weekend rider, and family riders, there is something for every level of interest at the Collin Classic.
Starting and finishing at McKinney North High School (ride start is 8 am), this year’s rally offers open-road routes from 22 to 64 miles in length. Routes are designed to maximize rider experience taking into account traffic congestion and chip-seal. There is also a Plano Cycling & Fitness Kids Safety Clinic and Ride that is great for all ages (this will take place at approximately 8:30 am at the starting line and closed street at McKinney North High School).
Throughout each route, riders will enjoy fully-stocked rest stops and a variety of cyclist support services including law enforcement, professional medical services, SAG vehicles, roving bike mechanics, and ride guides.
Proceeds from the event will benefit City House – a nonprofit agency in Collin County that has been protecting and sheltering abused and homeless youth since 1988."
