1st Annual June Moon ride, picnic & music!
Details
Beginning T & P Hill parking lot, we can ride our bikes around the lake and return to T & P (Tee Pee) Hill for a community picnic and moon rising party over looking the shores of WRL. We can bring our picnic dinner and enjoy the view of the lake as the sun goes down. At sunset, we will watch the moon rise and the dozens of "June-Mooners" singing on the shore. We'll be listening to these acoustic musicians play their guitars and sing songs, many of which are moon-related. The full moon will rise over the lake at 8:31pm. For more info: (www.junemoon.org)
T & P Hill is located east of the Williamson Road/W. Lawther intersection. There is a sign that says: "T & P Hill", a long, covered boat dock, 3 parking lots, REAL bathrooms, and a clover-shaped play ground near the bike path. Look for the concrete pavilion, our 12 foot green umbrella, and ground tarps if you want to join us!
