Details
Prerequisite: Be fully vaccinated. If you attend and we later find out you lied it's a lifetime ban. Don't do it.
Current CDC Guidelines and Local Conditions: (https://www.utsouthwestern.edu/covid-19/assets/modeling.pdf). Based on that, masking is encouraged, but it will not be enforced.
NOTE: We will continue to monitor the situation and update requirements if necessary.
DHA: Does not solicit vendors or speakers to present. This is a community driven event and you get out of it what you put into it. So what will you talk about this month?
Firetalks: No more than 10-minute presentations with up to 5-minutes of Q&A. Sign-up sheet near POS stand (stage right). Slides and display should be set for 1080p resolution. We prioritize new speakers, but otherwise it's first come, first served.
Additional Activities: This isn't just a monthly meetup, it's a mini-con!
Capture the Flag (CTF): Come out to learn and showcase your hacking skills.
Locksport: Picks and locks to learn/practice on are provided, or bring your own.
LibreTechnica: https://www.libretechnica.org/wiki/index.php/Main_Page
Hardware Hacking: Learn basic soldering skills. Bring your badges or other projects.
Career Room: Get a resume review. Get coaching on interview skills. Practice public speaking: think Toastmasters for hackers.
Chillout Room: Board games provided, or bring your own. Organize your own MTG game or AD&D campaign.
Merch Room: Support your community and get some cool swag.
If you just want to eat and drink while watching us make fools of ourselves, entry is free and Family Karaoke has a great menu.
