2026 Dallas County Precinct Conventions

Do YOU want to build a third party big enough to take on the two old parties?
This is how it is done, legally and peacefully. We need long-term libertarians and freedom-minded newcomers to join us as we navigate our convention cycle.
These conventions are important legal steps in nominating Libertarian candidates for the general election, electing party leadership, seating committee chairs, electing delegates to District and State Conventions and updating bylaws and platform. All of these decisions are in the hands of the delegates that show up!
Our party is the third largest in the state and country, but we still need you to do YOUR part by affiliating with the Libertarian Party and activating your neighborhood!
You must be registered to vote in Dallas County by February 8 to participate, and you must NOT vote in the Republican or Democratic Primary! instead join us at this event with your voter ID card and/or Driver's License, at Poor David's Pub (parking is free in back, and across the street from venue-53 spots). We will get you signed up as delegate and walk you through your individual Precinct Convention. Once your Convention paperwork is complete, we can hang out for a while and get ready for our County Convention on Saturday March 14th!
