What are "Flock cameras"? These automated license plate readers (ALPRs) are being installed by city, county, and state governments all over the country, and you likely have seen them in Dallas County if you know what to look for. At this month's meeting, Carrollton resident Claire Neago is going to be our featured speaker, educating us on the privacy issues surrounding ALPRs, her current efforts in Carrollton to stop the installation and use of these cameras, and how local Libertarians can join her to be active and effective in fighting the surveillance state.
