## 📸 Downtown Dallas Light‑Trails Photo Walk — Meetup Description

Join us for a dynamic two‑location night photography session in the heart of Dallas. We’ll focus on light trails, urban motion, and architectural night scenes, starting at one of the city’s most historic vantage points and ending in a vibrant, modern park setting.

### 📍 Meeting Point — 8:00 PM

We’ll meet at Union Station at 8:00 PM sharp. This gives everyone time to set up gear, sync settings, and walk together to our first shooting location.

## ⭐ Location 1: Dealey Plaza (8:15 PM – ~9:30/10:00 PM)

Our first stop is Dealey Plaza, where we’ll capture:

  • Light trails from Elm & Commerce traffic
  • Long‑exposure street scenes
  • Historic architecture under night lighting
  • Creative intervalometer sequences for stacked trails or timelapses

We’ll stay here until 9:30–10:00 PM, depending on group pace and lighting conditions.

## ⭐ Location 2: Walk to Klyde Warren Park (~10:00 PM onward)

After wrapping up at Dealey Plaza, we’ll take a relaxed walk toward Klyde Warren Park. Along the way, we’ll stop for:

  • Skyline shots
  • Pedestrian motion blur
  • Reflections and ambient city light

At the park, we’ll finish with wide‑angle compositions, colorful lighting, and optional group shots.

## 🎒 Recommended Gear

  • DSLR camera — manual mode strongly encouraged
  • Tripod — essential for long exposures
  • Intervalometer — great for timelapse or stacked light trails
  • Remote shutter controller — reduces camera shake for crisp exposures

Optional but helpful: extra batteries, wide‑angle lens, ND filters, comfortable shoes.

## 🎯 Skill Level

All levels welcome — from beginners learning long exposure for the first time to seasoned shooters refining their night workflow.

## 🔥 What You’ll Learn

  • Long‑exposure technique for light trails
  • Night focusing methods
