Las Colinas Dragonboat Festival Ride

Join me for a ride to Campion Trail and downtown Las Colinas for the DFW Dragon Boat Kite and Lantern Festival.

We will meet up at 9:00am at the North Lake College DART rail station parking lot at 1770 W. Walnut Hill Lane in Irving, Texas. Note: The parking lot is somewhat hidden from Walnut Hill Ln and you need to turn East on Brangus Dr. to find it. From there we will ride to the event. This will be a no drop ride of about 12-20 miles averaging 12-14mph over streets and paved trails so it is suitable for any type of bike. Bring a helmet, water and lock so we can spend some time watching the races and checking out the festivities. The event is free but bring some cash in case you want to try some of the food or drink on offer. Also, if you want to cut the ride short or skip some of the hills on the way back you should be able to ride the DART train with your bike from the downtown Las Colinas station back to the start.

I'm keeping an eye on the weather but for now it looks like the storms should clear up by the weekend. I'll update accordingly if we need to cancel.
