Meeting Overview

Introductions: Introduce members to the 2016 Organizers and Sponsors and explain their responsibilities.

Announcing fall workshops: We are gathering feedback from members on what topics are of interest to cover this October. In the past we had the honor of celebrity artists providing instruction.

Film and photography contests: The contests are finally here!!! This year members will take over the lead photographer's role and compete in teams to earn cash prizes and recognition for specific subjects chosen by Meetup organizer. A team consists of at least two members, so at least one member from each team must attend the May 21st meetup as a representative to sign up and go over rules of the contests. Teams can be formed at Meetup for individuals looking for partners.

Field trips: Depending on level of participation, select members could be chosen to join Don the lead organizer at various venues locally or nationally.

First opportunity to be film extra: Immediately after our meetup a small project will be taking place down the hall from 5:30pm - 6:30pm. Become a background actor for a comedy skit.
