Synopsis:
We often recognize symbolism in art and literature, yet music—across every genre—carries its own powerful symbolic lexicon. From hip hop and blues to jazz and classical, composers and performers shape sound into meaning, encoding ideas about the physical, emotional, and spiritual dimensions of human experience.
