Downtown - Black History Walk

Walk from Old Red toward Main Street Park, passing historic markers toward Deep Ellum, the historic black Knights of Pythias Hall, St James AME Church, Dallas Black Dance Theatre, St Paul's United Methodist Church, and Booker T Washington High School. 10k route will continue to Notre Dame Academy, Griggs Park, and Freedman's Cemetery.
Meet at the Old Red Courthouse on Houston St (regular Downtown Dallas meeting place) between 9:00 and 9:30. Walk at 9:30.
Paid parking available around the Old Red Courthouse and near Union Station or take DART to EBJ Union Station and walk 3 blocks to the Old Red Courthouse.
