Join Tarrant County Walkers Saturday Jan. 10 at the Fort Worth Nature Center at 8:15am to 10:15 to start your walk. The nature center has over 3,600 acres of prairies, forests and wetlands, wildflowers and prairie dog towns.
Nature Center fee to enter: $3 seniors, $6 adults. + Club fee $4.
Meet at at the Hardwicke Interpreative Center at to register. The address is 9601 Fossil Ridge Rd. in far west Fort Worth. From Loop 820, exit Hwy 199 (Jacksboro Highway), and go west 4 miles. Exit Confederate Park Rd. to the right and stay on service road. At stop sign, turn right onto Buffalo Road into Nature Center entrance. Stop at gate house to pay fee and obtain pass and trail map.
