The Dallas Yi Jing (I Ching) Meetup

The Dallas Yi Jing (I Ching) Meetup gets together once a month, usually on the fourth Saturday of each month.

Our meetings begin with a light lunch, and then we study together one of the sixty-four Yi Jing hexagrams in detail, or study two or more related hexagrams. The lunch is often a potluck lunch at a member's home, but sometimes we decide to meet at a local tea house or restaurant. Please refer to the meeting announcement for more specific details about the meeting for that month.

No prior knowledge of the Yi Jing (I Ching) is required. Our members have different levels of experience and different approaches. We welcome all who would like to attend.

Those people that have translations of the Yi Jing are encouraged to bring their translations to the meeting. A portion of the meeting usually includes a comparison of the different translations. Extra copies of English translations of the Yi Jing are available for those that do not have a translation.

Our meetings usually last 2+ hours, but people are free to leave the meeting whenever they need to go.
