Dealing With Executive Attention Span Disorder (EASD) in Your Long-Running Enterprise Data Program – Grant Sutton:
Across the world data professionals labor valiantly to solve truly challenging and complex enterprise data problems. With growing awareness of the importance of data in the business and more of it to deal with, the job isn't getting any easier. Add to that the challenge of trying to build an enterprise data solution that takes longer than the attention span of your sponsors and it's a wonder any of us still pursue our passion for solving these problems.
In this presentation we'll address the plague of Executive Attention Span Disorder (EASD) and proven strategies to make sure your long-running enterprise data program (BI, Data Governance, Metadata, Data Warehouse, etc.) won't be abandoned after the first three months.
