James River Thinkers in Lynchburg and Star City Thinkers in Roanoke have been meeting - excluding time out for COVID - for three years.
Due to COVID, our attendance at each meetup has dropped off and continues to be only 3 to 5 attending / pre COVID was in the 4 to 10 range; but we still have an enjoyable discussion and learn a lot.
I have been hoping for someone in Danville to step up and coordinate Dan River Thinkers. This could be you.
Our topic in Roanoke and Lynchburg for October is "To Help or Not to Help." We will discuss whether the taxpayers should or should not step up to help areas of the country affected by climate change.
