This event is in honor of Dylan, who is one year older, and he enjoys hiking! Inside Tarrywile park is Hearthstone Castle, which is pretty neat . It was built in 1897 for a prominent photographer's summer home, but eventually fell into disrepair. There were plans to renovate it into an observation deck, but I'm not sure if they finished it (we can find out together!)

This is the latest article I had found about the castle, which is worth a read:

Tarrywile park used to be an old dairy farm, and it now has 21 miles of trails. Perfect for exploring! Stewart has agreed to lead this event. We will meet at the designated parking lot for the park, which is across from Immaculate High School, off of Sputhern Boulevard.

Dylan has requested that we not sing to him, so it's just the treat and a toast to Dylan. (I made gluten free cookies that I passed to Stuart to share on friday).

Lastly, event planning and meetup organizer costs me about $240 per year, not including attending the paid events themselves. Pitch in a few dollars to our group fund, if you can, to help me cover the meetup cost. Thanks so much!!
