Let's walk over the Hudson River, & have some grub!

Our friend Vince is excited to lead us on a leisurely walk over the Hudson River. We will Park in Poughkeepsie, cross the bridge to Highland where we will eat some grub at a Filipino restaurant called Hapag Bistro, and then walk back across to Poughkeepsie. This is a lovely way to chat and get to know people! It is not a difficult walk, and with great views of the river.

** UPDATED PARKING **

The main parking lot for this walk in closed for construction. We will instead park at Victor C. Waryas Park in Poughkeepsie. There are 2 parking lots, and we will meet in the lower lot by the river. We'll then take the elevator up to the bridge. (If the elevator is closed, it'll be a 20-minute detour to the bridge).

It's a 1-hour drive from Danbury to Poughkeepsie - drive less with a carpool!

We'll meet at Danbury Fair Mall at 9:45 AM and leave at 10:00 AM to make our hike. Meet by the Tesla chargers near Cheesecake Factory if you'd like to carpool.
