Strawberry Picking and Spotted Horse Tavern

For over 40 years, guests have been invited to enjoy the tradition of harvesting fresh strawberries during the height of summer. Jones Family Farms is expecting to start the strawberry harvest in early June, though timing may shift up by about a week depending on weather conditions and the pace of the harvest. Strawberries are the perfect seasonal treat sweet, refreshing, and packed with nutrients.

As you head out to pick strawberries, please keep in mind that the activity can be physically demanding, especially under the summer sun. Be sure to dress comfortably and prepare for time outdoors.

If you don’t have your own basket, the venue provides boxes and baskets for picking. For families bringing children, the Kid’s Pint is a fun and manageable option for little ones.
