What to Expect at Burns Night London 2025

Doors Open at 7:00 PM Arrive at Porchester Hall and soak in the buzzing atmosphere. Grab a drink, meet new friends, and prepare for an evening to remember.

8:00 PM – Dancing Begins - Licence to Ceilidh band will guide you through traditional dances. Whether you’re a seasoned dancer or a total beginner, the infectious energy will have you on your feet. No experience is necessary—just bring your enthusiasm and a willingness to join in the fun!

9:20 PM – The Piping in of the Haggis A highlight of the evening! As the bagpipes play, the star of the night—the haggis—is ceremoniously brought in.

9:30 PM – Address to a Haggis Experience the dramatic and entertaining recitation of Burns’ famous poem, Address to a Haggis. It’s a spectacle not to be missed, blending humour, drama, and tradition.

9:35 PM – Bagpipe Solo Enjoy a stunning solo performance from our bagpiper as the haggis is piped off stage.

9:40 PM – More Dancing! The ceilidh resumes with lively tunes and more dances. Grab a partner or join a group—it’s all about fun and connection.

11:00 PM – Auld Lang Syne The evening concludes with a heartfelt rendition of Auld Lang Syne. Hold hands with your fellow revellers, sing along, and bask in the warmth of shared tradition.

What’s on the Menu? Food is served buffet-style and features traditional Scottish fare: Haggis (meat, vegetarian, and vegan options available) Neeps and Tatties (turnips and potatoes) It’s comfort food at its finest, paired perfectly with the vibrant energy of the evening.
