Country Two Step for Total Beginners — Tuesday Night Group Class

Boots on, worries off! 🤠 Looking for a fun, easy way to spend your Tuesday evening in Sarasota? Come learn Country Two Step at Dance Treat. It's the smooth, friendly partner dance you see at every country bar, wedding, and honky-tonk, and it's one of the easiest partner dances to pick up. Never danced before? Perfect. This class was made for you.
What we'll do:

• A relaxed, one-hour group class from 7:00 to 7:55 PM
• Step-by-step guidance from the very first step: the "quick-quick-slow-slow" rhythm and a comfortable partner hold
• Lots of partner rotation, laughs, and practice with a welcoming group of locals

2-Week Two Step Series:
In just two Tuesdays you'll learn a couple of fun moves and how to lead or follow them with any partner.

• Week 1 (this class): Your first steps. Rhythm, timing, partner connection, and the basics of leading and following.
• Week 2: A couple of easy moves, and putting them together so you can actually dance a full song.

Drop in for any single class. There's no commitment and no homework. But if you come to both, you'll leave ready to two-step at any country night in Sarasota.

• Do I need a partner? No! We rotate partners, so you'll meet plenty of people. Couples can stay together if they prefer.
• What should I wear? Something comfortable. Cowboy boots are welcome but not required. Any shoes that stay on your feet work. No flip-flops.
• I've never danced before. Can I still come? Absolutely. This class is for total beginners, and it's a judgment-free zone.
