The purpose of The Dances of Universal Peace is to expand Peace, Love, and Harmony, in your life and our world.
If you want more Joy and Peace in your heart and for the world, this group is for you.
You can join in for the joy, fun and keep it lite, or it can become a most powerful spiritual practice that leads you toward the Oneness of Enlightenment.
We have regular Dances all over Florida, United States and many other Countries as well.
Some of the Dances are a single two hour events followed by a Potluck. That's why I've coined the phrase "Sing, Dance and Praise Together~ then Break Bread".
We also have more extensive Retreats lasting from 2 days - 5 days.
The Dances were originated by Samuel Lewis.

The Dances of Universal Peace are a spiritual practice of Sufi origin that combines singing and dancing of sacred phrases of the world’s religions. The intention of the dances is to raise consciousness and promote peace between diverse religions as well as tuning our hearts to the vibrations of Love, Harmony and Beauty! Chants are often sacred phrases put to traditional, contemporary, or inspired melodies. A wide range of languages are used in the chants, including Arabic, Aramaic, English, Hawaiian, Hebrew, Persian, and Sanskrit. Some are deep and meditative while others are lively & fun. All are uplifting!
